Black Canyon is part of the Lake Mead Recreation
Area. Our Kayak day trip started at Willow Beach, Arizona.
South of Hoover Dam near mile post 14, Turn West onto
Willow Beach Rd. We chose a non guided option and
rented our Kayak from Willow Beach Marina. The staff
there is outstanding and helped make our adventure a
very memorable and enjoyable experience.
Although we launched from Arizona we spent much of
the day in Nevada. The state line is the center of the
Colorado River here. Our paddle was approximately 3
miles round trip.
